Assignments can range from a few weeks to several months and often offer higher pay and flexible scheduling. Contract Agency RNs must be licensed and typically have experience in various healthcare settings, enabling them to adapt quickly to new environments.

What are some common challenges faced by contract agency RNs when adapting to new healthcare facilities?

Contract Agency RNs often encounter the challenge of quickly adapting to different workplace cultures, electronic health record systems, and facility-specific protocols. Since assignments can be short-term, it's crucial to learn the workflow and build rapport with new teams rapidly.
