Join the Reliable Health Care Services on a contract assignment with The City of Las Vegas - Neighborhood Services Street Medicine in Las Vegas, a critical initiative that provides medical, welfare, and case management services to the city's homeless population. This is your chance to work in a high-impact environment while gaining experience and giving back to the community.About the Role
As an Advanced EMT, you'll be working in a safe sleeping area that serves up to 800 visitors per day, helping vulnerable individuals access care, stay safe, and navigate toward healthier lives. This is a contract position with the City of Las Vegas, facilitated by Reliable Health Care Services.
Typical duties include:
  • Assisting individuals with mobility (e.g., getting off the mat)
  • Cleaning wounds and changing bandages
  • Providing OTC medications and basic care within your scope
  • Performing triage and coordinating emergency response (911 calls as needed)
  • Working closely with a high-volume homeless population
Qualifications
  • Current AEMT license (Nevada)
  • Previous 1 year field experience as an EMT Required
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to pass pre-employment background screening
  • Compassionate, adaptable, and comfortable working in non-traditional settings
