Location: 10036 Aurora Hudson Rd., Streetsboro, OH 44241
Reports To: Operations Manager
Travel Required: Minimal travel required
Schedule: 40-hour work week comprised of 5 eight-hour days; some occasional overtime may be required.

GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION
This role is responsible for setting up part files and builds accurately and efficiently for use in the manufacturing process. Technicians must be able to manage time and projects and meet deadlines, communicate with Project Managers, Engineering, and Operations, and troubleshoot errors and defects. The role must be able to work independently and as a team to ensure company goals are met and manufacturing processes are strong.
RESPONSIBILITIES1.Additive Setupa)Perform production setups for additive manufactured partsb)Read and interpret instructions, drawings, and travelers along with directions from customers and Project Managersc)Manage schedule and provide feedback to Scheduler and Operations Managerd)Utilize reference plane and 3D visualization for part orientatione)Recommend best practices for manufacturing based on process2.Manufacturinga)Understand additive manufacturing processes (Carbon, HP, SLA, FDM, etc.)b)Perform manufacturing tasks as needed to support production teamc)Report and prevent errors and defectsd)Troubleshoot processes and provide feedback regarding process improvementse)Perform preventative maintenance and calibration activities on equipment QUALIFICATIONS
  • Prior additive manufacturing and/or manufacturing experience preferred, but training will be provided
  • Participation in STEM or related program
  • Associate’s degree in STEM field preferred
  • Experience with 3D Systems, Stratasys, Carbon, or HP software preferred
  • Knowledge and understanding of resin and material properties preferred
OTHER REQUIREMENTS
  • Microsoft Office proficiency (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
  • Ability to problem solve and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Detail oriented
  • Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds, sit and stand for extended periods, and perform push/pull, bending, lifting, and keyboarding activities
