Step into the ring and join us as a 2D Line Producer on a new action-comedy wrestling shorts series for kids 8-11 from one of the creative powerhouses behind Total Drama Island!If you excel at managing pipeline logistics, steering talented crews, and keeping productions on budget and on schedule, we want you in our corner!
Guru Studio is a creative-driven entertainment company and an industry leader in animated storytelling. For over twenty years, our studio has brought to life some of the most recognizable and beloved children's properties in the world.
Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the development and production process of the 2D animation project and assure this is run within the schedule and the provided budget.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between the studio and the client ensuring clear and effective communication to meet clients needs and expectations.
  • Lead and motivate a diverse team of artists, writers, and technical staff.
  • Manage all activities related to the project, ensuring timely and budget-compliant delivery, to the highest quality standards.
  • Liaise with P&C to recruit proper talents based on the specific needs of the production without compromising production's schedule and deadline.
  • Negotiate contracts with staff, artists and all other outside vendors/suppliers.
  • Support the Director and Creators' vision for the show.
  • Liaising with Supervisors and Leads departments to quantify best methodologies and approach for the project.
  • Coordinate with various departments to maintain workflow and meet deadlines, including managing notes.
    Exhibit flexibility in adjusting and reassessing priorities as circumstances change.
  • Perform additional duties that naturally fall under the responsibilities of the Line Producer and other required duties that might become necessary during the course of the production.


Qualifications:

  • 5+ years experience with complex budgets/schedules
  • Experience and knowledge with 2D pipelines and workflow
  • Experience producing indie feature production
  • Excellent communication, collaborative and interpersonal skills
  • Driven, innovative, and solution focused
  • Experience with International production an asset
  • Experience working with multiple studios simultaneously an asset
  • Strong organizational skills with great attention to detail
  • Strong background in traditional animation production

Contract duration: Fixed term

Expected compensation:$2,250 per week, depending on experience and role requirements
