Job description

Full-time Administrator-Continuum Healthcare Inc.-Arlington, Ohio 

Generally, the Administrator position acts as the director of the facility and is ultimately responsible for all patient care and business decisions. Specifically, this Nursing Home Administrator job duties include:

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the facility and keep the organization on track for its long-term goals and mission for a 50 bed SNF and IL
  • Coordinate and provide leadership to each clinical, managerial, and custodial team, and ensure that they work together effectively
  • Hire (and fire) staff and employees at every level
  • Ensure the facility operates in compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations
  • Coordinate with clinical staff to ensure residents’ individual care plans are being followed
  • Provide regular safety and compliance training
  • Create and maintain a budget
  • Oversee billing and set fees
  • Act as the ‘face’ of the organization to the governing board, the public, and residents’ families; and as a liaison between staff, residents, and families
  • Giving tours of the facilities to prospective residents and explaining services provided
  • Hiring and training new staff, including administrative and clinical staff, and conducting regular performance reviews
  • Ensuring that facility equipment is up to date and ordering new or updated equipment as needed
  • Establishing policies and procedures that follow governmental regulations and protect nursing home staff and residents
  • Working with Interdisciplinary team to ensure compliance

Requirements

·      Must be licensed in the state of Ohio and license must be in good standing

·      2 years Administrator experience preferred

·      Master’s Degree Preferred, but not required

·      Fiscal and financial acumen
