Roll Tender
The Roll tender assists press operators and ensuring continuous, efficient production. You are responsible for maintaining the rolls on web presses, monitoring press operation, and performing regular safety and quality checks. Material Handling experience encouraged to apply to begin your career in printing!
What You'll Do:
  • Load, mount, and prepare paper rolls onto web presses according to production specifications.
  • Perform webbing and splicing to ensure continuous press operation.
  • Monitor paper roll performance throughout production runs and make adjustments as needed.
  • Inspect rolls for damage or imperfections prior to loading.
  • Assist press operators with setup, maintenance, and production needs.
  • Maintain accurate records of material usage, press downtime, and production runs.
  • Remove and replace finished rolls, ensuring correct labeling and storage.
  • Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of press and surrounding areas.
What You Bring:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Mechanical aptitude and comfort working with industrial machinery.
  • Ability to lift and maneuver paper rolls weighing up to 75 lbs.
  • Experience in manufacturing material handling.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining print quality.

Education and Experience:
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • 1-4 months of manufacturing experience.
  • Training available w/previous manufacturing/warehouse experience.

Physical Requirements:
Standing 80% | Lifting up to 75 lbs. lbs. repeatedly | Carrying 25-75 lbs. | Frequent bending, reaching, and handling of materials.

Job Type: Full Time
Shifts Available: 1st shift 8:00am- 4:00pm, 2nd shift 4:00pm-12:00 am (12 % differential), 3rd shift 12:00am-8:00am (15%differntial)
