ProSidian Seeks a Business Continuity Program Consultant - Business Transformation (BT) Initiatives in CONUS - Silver Spring, MD (Plus Work Remotely) to support engagement for an agency of the US Federal Govt. that regulates clinical investigations of products under its jurisdiction, such as drugs, biological products, and medical devices.ย 

The ProSidian Engagement Team Members work to Business Transformation (BT) Support Services for initiatives aimed to align People, Process and Technology of the agency's financial community to be more closely linked with the strategy and vision for protecting the public health of the nation. Key objectives are to integrate and maintain financial management activities, business processes, and customer service using project management, administration, and change management techniques.

Business Continuity Program Consultant - Business Transformation (BT) Initiatives Candidates shall work to support requirements for Program Support and Business Continuity Program Initiatives.ย  This position Provides support to ensure compliance with continuity directives through planning, maintaining business continuity documentation, and conducting continuity exercises and training.ย  Key project workstreams align with BPA Statement Of Work Workstreams: 3.1 - Business Continuity Program.ย  The program is designed to provide for management of events that are disruptive to the normal functions and operational flow of the Fed. Govt. Agency's financial processes, and to provide guidance in the recovery from such events and return to normal operations.

The ProSidian Engagement Team shall support the Fed. Govt. Agency in the maintenance of the Business Continuity Program (BCP) to enable the continuation of mission essential functions, supporting activities, and business processes during financial, biological, environmental, human, and natural emergencies. Representative activities may include but are not limited to:

  • Maintain updated business continuity plans as tasked in coordination with the Fed. Govt. Agency, Agency Stakeholders, and Collaborating Partners.
  • Update business continuity plan and procedures and coordinate review and approval by the Fed. Govt. Agency's Office of Security and Emergency Management.
  • Develop and conduct an Information Systems Continuity Plan (ISCP) and tabletop exercises to demonstrate the effectiveness of business continuity planning.
  • Develop and maintain distribution lists for business continuity and emergency operations (e.g., emergency phone trees aligned with the Fed. Govt. Agency's Continuity of Operations Plan (COOP)).

Qualifications

The Business Continuity Program Consultant - Business Transformation (BT) Initiatives shall have consecutive employment in a position with comparable responsibilities within the past five (5) years, Must be able to use a computer to communicate via email; and proficient in Microsoft Office Products (Word/Excel/PowerPoint) and related tools and technology required for the position.ย 

Work products shall be thorough, accurate, appropriately documented, and comply with established criteria. The candidate shall ensure that duties are performed in a competent and professional manner that meets milestones/delivery schedules as outlined.

The Business Continuity Program Consultant shall be classified under the Labor Categories and Experience of a Federal Consultantย  with professional qualifications that include A minimum of 4 years of consulting or general relevant work experience. Consultant holds a bachelor's degree and will provide a combination of the following:

  • Demonstrated experience performing project tasks.
  • Experience in one or more of the key project areas.
  • Supports implementation of business operations improvements or project tasks.
  • Strategic Planning Certification or Equivalent Experience.
  • Strong Writing and Verbal Communications Skills.

This work will be performed primarily in CONUS - Silver Spring, MD (Plus Work Remotely)

TRAVEL:ย  Travel as coordinated with the technical point of contact and approved in writing by the Contracting Officer in advance, is allowed, in accordance with Federal Travel Regulations.ย 

LOCATION:ย  Work shall be conducted at the CONUS - Silver Spring, MD (Plus Work Remotely)
