Role OverviewMOBIS North America electrified Powertrain LLC (MNAe) is a Tier 1 supplier of Battery System Assembly (BSA) and Power Electric (PE) Systems, which are vital parts to produce Hyundai/Kia electric vehicles, based on state-of-art manufacturing technology related to battery system assembly.Our Production Management Department at Hyundai Mobis North America is seeking a Control Planning Specialist to join our team in Richmond Hill, Georgia. This position is responsible for ensuring that the manufacturing process is efficient, cost-effective, and delivers high-quality products on time, while also coordinating with other departments and managing resources. The successful candidate will be responsible for comprehensive plant control, including production planning and production performance analysis.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES (To perform within this position successfully, the incumbent must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned.)Act as the initial point of contact for the customer (HMGMA, HMMA, KaGA) production plan and monitor customer production plan changes and irregular ordersInform related departments about changes to the production plan (Schedule, UPH, shift plan, volume, working hours, CKD / pilot car order)Adjust production plans with the customer as needed (in case of logistics, production, or quality trouble)Maintain the EDI process (Customer ↔ Mobis) and conduct contingency plans when trouble with BroadcastMaintain the work order process and production information in MES (Line assembly code, Broadcast data, Fool-proof barcode key data, Working time pattern)Maintain JIS Lead time information (Docking station, Delivery Lead time)Collect and maintain production index in MES, ERP, or manually (actual vs. planned, working time, hour per unit, downtime, OEM line stop, production CUM, inefficient expense, scrap cost, line assignment efficiency, and overtime)Prepare monthly/weekly production reports (production index analysis and improvement)Ensure the accuracy of production index system data (system vs. actual)Make an irregular plant comprehensive reportMaintain plant information and indexRespond to Korea headquarters requirementsSupport/perform special projects as necessaryAUTHORITY & SCOPEThis role operates within defined corporate policies and procedures and exercises judgment appropriate to its level of responsibility.
