Position Responsibility Summary:

  • Primary Function - Disaster Recovery Planning (PWS 1.16.9): Performs disaster recovery, contingency, and continuity planning activities including Business Impact Analysis (BIA) recommendations, Business Continuity Plan (BCP) development IAW AR 500-3, and contingency plan maintenance as prescribed by ARCYBER.
    • Cross-Functional Backup Validation (PWS 1.16.8):* Cross-trained in Backup and Recovery Management to validate that enterprise backup and recovery strategies directly align with DR/COOP plans. Coordinates RPO/RTO testing exercises jointly with Storage & Backup System Administrators, verifies COOP site backup solutions are fully functional (Linux NFS and Windows SMB protocols), and ensures disaster recovery exercises produce realistic, validated outcomes.
