HIRING IMMEDIATELY: RESTORATION LEAD IN MCDONOUGH, GA
Accurate Personnel is hiring immediately for a Restoration Lead to join our team in McDonough, Georgia. This individual will be responsible for leading field operations for emergency mitigation and property restoration projects, including water damage extraction, fire and smoke damage remediation, mold abatement, and contents management..   • Starting at $20-$25/hour

  • Monday-Friday 8am-5pm
  • Located in McDonough, Georgia

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Field Supervision & Production: Lead daily on-site operations for water, fire, smoke, and mold mitigation projects. Assign tasks to technicians, monitor workflow, and ensure quality standards align with company and IICRC protocols
  • Customer Experience & Communication: Serve as the primary on-site contact for property owners. Walk clients through the restoration process, set clear expectations, address concerns professionally, and collect completed paperwork and positive online reviews
  • Documentation & Job Records: Maintain precise, real-time job documentation using field management software (e.g., DASH, Encircle). Record daily job notes, psychrometric/moisture readings, initial scopes, and comprehensive pre/post-mitigation photos
  • Resource & Cost Control: Track and manage job-site labor hours, equipment placement, and consumable usage (antimicrobial agents, poly sheeting, PPE) to ensure project profitability and minimal material waste
  • Cross-Functional Coordination: Deliver timely daily progress updates, scope revisions, and equipment tracking data to Project Managers, Estimators, and office support staff
  • Safety Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to OSHA safety guidelines, hazardous material handling, containment setup, and proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) usage on all job sites.
  • Asset & Fleet Care: Oversee the routine inspection, maintenance, cleaning, and tracking of service vehicles, extraction tools, dehumidifiers, air movers, and specialized restoration equipment.
  • Technician Mentorship: Onboard, train, and mentor junior technicians on mitigation techniques, equipment placement, safety procedures, and customer service skills.

Requirements and Qualifications
  • Experience: 2+ years of hands-on experience in emergency property restoration, specialty cleaning, or construction labor.
  • Certifications: IICRC certifications preferred (WRT required within 90 days of hire; FSRT, AMRT, or ASD a strong plus).
  • Driver’s License: Valid driver’s license with a clean, insurable driving record.
  • Education: High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
  • Availability: Willingness to participate in a rotational 24/7 on-call schedule for emergency response
  • Physical Capability: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and up to 100 lbs assisted. Frequent pushing, pulling, bending, reaching, and standing for long periods.
  • Environment Adaptability: Ability to perform physically demanding work in tight or elevated spaces (crawlspaces, attics, roofs, basements).
  • Chemical & Material Exposure: Comfort working with and around cleaning chemicals, mold, fire debris, grey/black water, and biocides while wearing full PPE, including respirators
