Job description

Rosh Review, a Blueprint Company, is looking for a part-time PA Content Editor (up to 20 hours/week) to contribute to the continued development of our PA products. This is a remote, part-time job position, and will report to our PA Content Champion. 

What You'll Do

You will be responsible for contributing to the development and launch of materials for our PA products, as well as helping to maintain and improve the quality of our existing PA resources. Day-to-day responsibilities will vary significantly but are likely to include:

  • Writing and editing content, including, but not limited to content for: video, audio, instructional lecture and presentation materials, exam items, images, and text based content (books, blog posts, etc)
  • Reviewing and editing new and current medical PA content 
  • Writing and editing guidelines and instructions for PA authors
  • Helping with development of the topic identifiers and learning objectives 
  • Communicating closely with authors and providing feedback to authors on their performance 
  • Working closely with the copy editing team, the illustration team, the content operations team, PA tutors, and other internal and external stakeholders as relevant
  • Learning and subsequently implementing style, images, and grammar guidelines when working with our materials 
  • Serving as a subject matter expert and representative of PA content, Blueprint/Rosh product, and Blueprint/Rosh style and grammar standards both internally and externally. 

You will be successful in this position if you are willing to learn quickly and often, engage with a wide variety of tasks at varying levels of difficulty, deliver materials on deadline, ask questions and take ownership of tasks you are assigned, and function well on a collaborative team.

  • Ability to produce high-quality work with a strong eye to detail, while adhering to a timeline 
  • Willingness to jump onto new projects and take on new challenges as they arise
  • Strong desire to help learners succeed and learn new things
  • Ability to work well as part of a team, including comfort with reviewing others' work and having your own work reviewed
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong preference given to applicants who have previously worked as editors, particularly editors of PA medical content
