This role leads the content engine behind that strategy.You'llsetthe editorial agenda for our Legal Professionals business, shape how the market understands the future of legalwork, andbuild the content programs that drive demand forCoCounsel, Westlaw, Practical Law, HighQ, andNoetica.

You’llreport to the VP ofRevenueMarketing - Legal and Government, and partner closely with Brand, Product Marketing, Thomson Reuters Institute, Communications, Product, and Sales leadership.You’lllead a team of writers, strategists, and producers.

About You
  • 7+ years in content strategy and editorial leadership at a B2B SaaS, professional services, or media company, with 3+ years leading and scaling a team.
  • A track recordof building original content programs thatmoveda market, not just produced volume. You can point to specific franchises and what theyearnedthe business.
  • Strong editorial judgment. You can read a draft, namewhat'swrong with it, and rewrite theledeyourself when needed.
  • Fluency with AI content tools and a clear point of view on how to use them without flattening voice or eroding accuracy.
  • Comfort working with senior executives, including extracting their point of view, ghostwriting at their level, and pushing back when needed.
  • Fluency with content performance data and marketing analytics. You manageto numbers without losing the craft.
  • Familiarity with the modern content stack: CMS, content operations platforms (Workfront, Contently, Writer), SEO and analytics tools, and AI-assisted production.
  • Experience in legal, regulated, or professional services markets is a strong plus. If youdon'thave it,you'vemoved into a complex vertical before andgottensmart fast.
