Momivate is a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering mothers by cultivating maternal instincts into confident maternal influence. We support mothers through mentorship, curriculum development, and community outreach, helping them thrive in their vital roles.

Position Overview

As Momivate’s Content Planner, you will play a key role in shaping Momivate’s social media presence by researching, organizing, and planning content for our creators. Working closely with the Social Media Manager and marketing team, you will develop content ideas, write scripts, identify trends, and create content plans that help communicate Momivate’s mission effectively. Your work will provide creators with clear direction and help ensure content is relevant, engaging, and impactful.

Key Responsibilities

Content Strategy & Planning:

  • Collaborate closely with the Social Media Manager and marketing team to develop content calendars and campaign plans.
  • Brainstorm and organize content ideas aligned with Momivate’s mission, programs, events, and audience needs.
  • Plan content series, educational campaigns, awareness initiatives, and seasonal content.
  • Assist in maintaining a consistent brand voice and messaging across all content.

Research & Trend Analysis:

  • Research social media trends, platform updates, and content strategies that resonate with mothers and families.
  • Identify successful content formats, topics, and engagement opportunities.
  • Monitor industry trends, nonprofit marketing strategies, and motherhood-focused content for inspiration.
  • Provide recommendations to improve content performance and audience engagement.

Script Writing & Creator Support:

  • Develop content briefs, outlines, talking points, and scripts for content creators.
  • Create clear filming instructions and content objectives for creators.
  • Assist in planning video concepts, educational content, interviews, testimonials, and promotional campaigns.
  • Ensure content aligns with Momivate's values, messaging, and goals.

Team Collaboration:

  • Work alongside content creators, social media managers, graphic designers, and other marketing volunteers.
  • Participate in team meetings to discuss content performance, upcoming campaigns, and creative opportunities.
  • Help coordinate content needs across multiple projects and initiatives.
