Job description

The Social Media & Content Coordinator is responsible for creating, capturing, and publishing engaging content that promotes Legends Bay Casino’s food and beverage offerings, promotions, events, and bingo hall activities across social media and digital marketing channels. This role requires regular presence on the gaming floor, in outlets, and at events to capture authentic, timely content, and must be performed in compliance with all applicable gaming regulations.                                            

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Plan, shoot, edit, and publish photo and video content for social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, etc.) highlighting promotions, food and drink specials, events, and the Bingo Hall.
  • Partner with the Marketing department to align with promotional and event schedules.
  • Capture live coverage of on-property events, tournaments, bingo sessions, and special promotions.
  • Write engaging, on-brand captions consistent with Legends Bay Casino’s marketing collateral.
  • Monitor social media accounts, respond to comments and messages, and engage with the online community in a professional and timely manner to promote Legends Bay Casino’s brand.
  • Coordinate with Food & Beverage, Casino Operations, Bingo, and Marketing staff to schedule content shoots and gather accurate information on promotions, events, and specials.
  • Track and report basic content performance metrics (engagement, reach, follower growth, etc.) to the Director of Casino Operations.
  • Stay current on social media trends and recommend new content ideas.
  • Ensure all content complies with company branding standards, responsible gaming guidelines, and applicable advertising regulations.
  • Maintain confidentiality regarding unreleased promotions, marketing strategy, and proprietary business information.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Casino Operations Director.

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma/GED or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of one year of experience in a hospitality or casino setting preferred.

Additional Requirements:

  • Must be 21 years of age.
  • Ability to work collaboratively on cross-functional teams.
  • Accurate and detail-oriented.
  • Highly organized, with the ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities.
  • Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of, or willingness to learn, casino operations, food and beverage service, and gaming promotions.
  • Strong photography and basic videography/editing skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on events and promotional schedules.
  • Prior experience in social media management, content creation, hospitality, or casino marketing preferred but not required.

Required Work Cards:

  • Registration with the Gaming Control Board.

  • Demonstrated familiarity with major social media platforms and content creation tools (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, Canva, CapCut, or similar).
Physical and Work Environment Requirements:
  • Ability to walk and stand for extended periods across the casino floor, F&B outlets, and event spaces.
