This role establishes the structure, governance, processes, and standards for customer-facing and sales enablement content across the organization. Working closely with Product, Sales, and Marketing this person ensures content is complete, current, high quality, easy to find, and aligned with company messaging and go-to-market priorities.
The role does not necessarily create all content. Rather, it orchestrates the content ecosystem-identifying what is needed, establishing ownership, driving creation and updates, maintaining quality, and ensuring content remains relevant throughout its lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
  • Content Strategy & Architecture: Develop and maintain the content hierarchy, taxonomy, and standards so Sales can easily find the right content by product, solution, audience, and sales stage. Define the core set of content required to support key GTM motions.
  • Content Governance & Lifecycle: Establish ownership, review cadences, and processes to ensure content remains current, accurate, relevant, and free of unnecessary duplication. Manage content from creation and approval through refresh and retirement.
  • Content Quality & Consistency: Maintain quality standards across Sales and Marketing content, ensuring materials are consistent with company positioning, messaging, and brand standards. Identify and drive resolution of gaps or inconsistencies.
  • Product Launch & GTM Readiness: Partner with Product Marketing, Product, Sales, and Enablement to ensure all collaterals needed for product launches are complete, approved, and available when sellers need it.
  • Content Gap Management: Proactively identify missing or inadequate content based on seller feedback, GTM priorities, customer needs, and usage data. Maintain and prioritize a content roadmap/backlog with the appropriate content owners.
  • Content Platform & Findability: Own the organization and administration of the sales content platform, ensuring content is easy to search, navigate, and access. Leverage AI and automation to improve tagging, discovery, and recommendations.
  • Measurement & Optimization: Track content usage, adoption, freshness, gaps, and seller feedback to assess the health and effectiveness of the content ecosystem. Use insights to continuously improve content and prioritize investments.

Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in Sales Enablement, Product Marketing, Content Operations, Marketing Operations, or a related B2B technology function.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise sales motions and how sellers use content throughout the customer journey.
  • Demonstrated experience managing large libraries of sales and marketing content.
  • Strong program and project management skills with the ability to coordinate deliverables across multiple functions.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to establish governance and standards without becoming a bottleneck.
  • Strong written communication and editorial judgment.
  • Experience with sales enablement/content management platforms such as Highspot, Seismic, Showpad, or similar tools preferred.
  • Experience using AI to improve content tagging, search, summarization, personalization, gap identification, and content lifecycle management strongly preferred.
