Job Purpose
The Marketing Assistant plays a pivotal role in supporting the Marketing Manager in the seamless execution of dynamic marketing strategies. This position will contribute to the overall success of our marketing initiatives by providing essential administrative support, ensuring the accuracy of marketing databases, and actively participating in the creative process. The Marketing Assistant will play a key role in elevating the Collins brand presence and achieving marketing goals.
What You'll Do
  • Assist the Marketing Manager with general office duties and administrative tasks.
  • Process invoices and monthly expense reports related to marketing activities.
  • Provide support for any special projects initiated by the Marketing Manager.
  • Assist in the planning and coordination of marketing events, both internal and external.
  • Work directly with the Marketing Manager to implement and execute marketing strategies and initiatives.
  • Provide support in the development and execution of comprehensive marketing plans.
  • Aid in the creation of visually appealing graphics for marketing materials, including social media, advertisements, and website content.
  • Assist in writing compelling copy for various platforms, including the company website, social media, email marketing, press releases, and blog posts.
  • Research and collect data from analytics sources to evaluate and improve the effectiveness of marketing efforts.
  • Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis to optimize marketing strategy.
  • Manage and maintain marketing databases.
  • Perform any other job-related duties or function as assigned by management.
  • Accountable for leading efforts in implementing continuous improvement initiatives and methodologies to improve processes and increase efficiency.
  • Participate in CECI Continuous Improvement events as needed (ex: JDI, RIE & A3's)
  • Maintain SOP's (Standard Operating Procedures) for compliance practices and other associated functions.

What You'll Bring
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, communication, or graphic design preferred, AA, or experience in lieu of degree will be considered.
  • 2+ years of full-time experience in a marketing role
  • Experience with WordPress, Canva, and Constant Contact are preferred but not required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to assist in writing compelling copy and interacting effectively with team members and external stakeholders.
  • Strong creative skills to aid in the creation of visually appealing graphics for marketing materials.
  • Exceptional organizational skills to assist in planning and coordinating marketing events and managing administrative tasks.
  • Effective time management to handle multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and support special projects.
  • Analytical skills to research, collect data, and provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis.
  • Skills in assisting with the planning and coordination of marketing events, both internal and external.
