Job Summary

The Product Disclosure Creator is responsible for developing, maintaining, and governing customer-facing disclosures to ensure they are accurate, compliant, clear, and aligned with regulatory, legal, and brand requirements. This role partners closely with Legal, Compliance, Risk, Product, and Lines of Business to translate complex regulatory and policy requirements into plain-language disclosures that are consumer-friendly and operationally sound.

The Creator owns disclosure content throughout its lifecycle-from creation and revision to review coordination, approval, and ongoing maintenance-ensuring disclosures remain up to date as products, processes, and regulations change.

Key Responsibilities

Disclosure Authoring & Maintenance

  • Write, revise, and maintain consumer, product, and operational disclosures in clear, concise, and compliant language.
  • Translate complex legal and regulatory requirements into disclosures that are understandable for customers and frontline teammates.
  • Ensure consistency of disclosure language across channels, products, and related documentation.
  • Apply established writing standards, templates, and approved terminology when authoring disclosure content.

Regulatory & Compliance Alignment

  • Partner with Legal, Compliance, Risk, and other control partners to ensure disclosures meet all regulatory and policy requirements.
  • Coordinate and manage formal review and approval cycles, ensuring all required stakeholders sign off prior to publication.
  • Respond to regulatory, audit, or risk findings by updating disclosures accurately and within required timelines.

Content Governance & Quality

  • Own disclosure change intake, documentation, and tracking, ensuring proper version control and audit trails.
  • Assess the impact of regulatory or product changes on existing disclosures and proactively recommend updates.
  • Ensure disclosures are written to minimize risk, reduce ambiguity, and support customer understanding and fair treatment principles.
  • Review disclosure content for clarity, accuracy, completeness, and alignment to governance standards prior to publication.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with subject matter experts, product teams, operational partners, and marketing to gather accurate source information.
  • Provide guidance to partners on disclosure requirements, intent, and content standards.
  • Participate in projects, initiatives, and system enhancements that impact disclosure content or delivery.

Continuous Improvement

  • Identify opportunities to streamline, consolidate, or simplify disclosure language while maintaining compliance.
  • Support modernization efforts, including system migrations, template updates, and content standardization efforts.
  • Incorporate feedback from frontline partners, customers, or oversight teams into content improvements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Business Analytics or equivalent experience supporting highly regulated banking functions such as disclosures.
  • 3+ years proven experience in Banking environment supporting Product Management activities including marketing and disclosures
  • Proven ability to analyze information and streamline documentation with a focus on regulatory compliance
  • Understanding of Key's Consumer systems, products and Sales/Marketing strategy - preferred
  • Strong ability to interpret regulatory, legal, or policy documentation and translate it into plain language.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple content items, deadlines, and review cycles simultaneously.
  • Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional partners and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in financial services disclosures (consumer banking, lending, deposits, investments, or payments).
  • Experience working with XMetal, eDas, DCM or similar structured authoring and disclosure platforms is a plus.
  • Familiarity with regulatory frameworks (e.g., CFPB, UDAAP, Truth in Lending, Deposits regulations, or similar).
  • Knowledge of disclosure governance, version control, and audit requirements.
  • Experience supporting regulatory exams or audits.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

This position is eligible to earn a base salary in the range of $63,000.00 - $96,000.00 annually. Placement within the pay range may differ based upon various factors, including but not limited to skills, experience and geographic location. Compensation for this role also includes eligibility for incentive compensation which may include production, commission, and/or discretionary incentives.
