West Monroe is seeking a Senior ServiceNow Developer - IRM/GRC to help clients modernize governance, risk, and compliance capabilities on the ServiceNow platform. This role will lead technical workstreams and design, configure, and develop GRC/IRM solutions that strengthen risk oversight, control assurance, policy compliance, audit readiness, and issue remediation. You will partner with business, risk, compliance, audit, security, and technology stakeholders to deliver outcomes-focused solutions for our clients.
What You Will Do

  • Design and configure solutions across ServiceNow Risk Management, Policy and Compliance Management, Audit Management, Third-party Risk Management, and related IRM capabilities.
  • Translate risk methodologies, control frameworks, policies, regulatory obligations, and audit requirements into technical designs, workflows, assessments, integrations, and platform configurations.
  • Configure IRM data structures and relationships for entities, risks, risk statements, controls, control objectives, authority documents, citations, issues, indicators, and remediation activities.

  • Own technical quality through design reviews, code and configuration reviews, testing, troubleshooting, release support, documentation, and proactive management of delivery risks.
  • Use AI and automation tools to accelerate analysis, improve delivery efficiency, and support high-quality client outcomes while applying sound judgment to validate outputs.
What You Will Bring
Required Experience
  • 4+ years of experience developing and configuring solutions on the ServiceNow platform.
  • Deep hands-on implementation experience with at least two ServiceNow IRM/GRC areas, such as Risk Management, Policy and Compliance Management, Audit Management, or Third-party Risk Management.
  • Working knowledge of IRM concepts and data relationships, including entities, risks, controls, control objectives, assessments, issues, indicators, and risk-response or remediation workflows.
  • Strong ServiceNow development skills, including JavaScript, Flow Designer, business rules, client scripts, UI policies, ACLs, workspaces, reporting, and dashboards.
  • Experience leading technical workstreams or owning ServiceNow development deliverables through requirements, build, testing, migration, release, and documentation.
  • Ability to travel 25 to 50% and to work permanently in the United States without sponsorship.
  • A commitment to inclusion and diversity, and openness to new ideas and perspectives.

Preferred Experience
  • Experience delivering IRM solutions for utilities, financial services, healthcare, energy, or other regulated and asset-intensive industries.
  • Experience integrating external regulatory content, risk data, control libraries, or enterprise systems with ServiceNow IRM.
  • Experience with Advanced Risk Assessment, Smart Assessment Engine, IRM workspaces, Performance Analytics, or automated indicators and metrics.
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA), Certified Application Developer (CAD), or relevant GRC/IRM implementation certifications.
  • Experience incorporating AI tools into day-to-day delivery workflows while assessing accuracy, security, bias, and output quality.
