We offer a hybrid workplace with three days onsite in our corporate office (Tuesday - Thursday) in Waitsfield, VT.

What you'll be doing:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated marketer with a passion for digital content and customer experience. This position will support a fast-paced team and take pride in executing digital marketing initiatives to enhance and optimize the digital journey. 

You have experience assisting with digital marketing efforts to include email, SMS, Search Engine Optimization (SEO), Generative Engine Optimization (GEO), paid media, and general content website needs. You are comfortable working within established strategies and processes, focusing on accurate, timely, and high-quality execution of content updates, content builds, and optimizations. You are eager to learn - using data to help identify opportunities for continuous improvement with guidance from the Manager, Web & eCommerce. 

You have a strong eye for detail and are attentive to content quality, user experience, and brand consistency across digital touchpoints. You’re comfortable using content management systems and marketing platforms, and you’re open to expanding your technical skillset as needed. 

Strong organizational and communication skills allow you to juggle multiple tasks efficiently. You are dependable, proactive, and take direction well, ensuring work is completed accurately and on time. 

Above all, you bring a collaborative mindset and a willingness to support the Digital team in delivering effective, engaging digital experiences that contribute to Cabot’s overall marketing goals. 

This role reports to the Manager, Web & email Marketing 

 Essential Position Functions 

  • Implement new content for owned websites in the Shopify platform as needed. Content may include new product creation, blog, and recipe content.  
  • Partner with the Web & Email Manager to implement content updates that follow SEO best practices and support ongoing digital marketing needs. Coordinate digital asset needs, including image cropping, resizing, and organization within the brand’s DAM system. Manage version control and organization of ad assets — including images, videos, and copy — across all digital platforms to ensure accuracy and consistency. 
  • Review and qualitycheck ad copy, landing pages, and placement details to confirm accuracy before launch. 
  • Coordinate between internal teams (creative, strategy, brand) and external partners to keep deliverables aligned and ensure campaigns launch on schedule. 
  • Monitor editorial content calendar focused on optimizing and enhancing SEO opportunities, as well as assisting in timelines for scheduling needs. 
  • Support and build Email/SMS messages within the Klayvio Platform; and schedule when approved. 
  • Assist with the Email/SMS acquisition platform Just Uno, with guidance and direction from the Manager, Web & Email Marketing. 
  • Attend reoccurring meetings with the Manager, Web & Email Marketing and the SEO, GEO and Email Marketing Agency Vendors. 
  • Learn and apply SEO/GEO best practices in all content to assist in our ongoing optimization efforts and priority marketing goals. 
  • Assist in managing the Level Access platform to ensure ADA compliancy for cabotcreamery.com; running scans, reporting results and communicating with the Manager, Web & Email Marketing & agency partner. 
  • Monitor and respond to reviews on cabotcreamery.com using our syndicated reviews platform BazaarVoice, and our internal blog/recipe comments. 
  • Support e-Commerce marketing needs, and Shopify related tasks. 
  • Other duties as assigned.  

 What we are seeking:

  • 1–3 years of experience in digital marketing, content creation, or related fields. 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills 
  • Experience using Data Visualization Tools (Microsoft Clarity) preferred 
  • Familiarity and experience using Shopify preferred 
  • Familiarity and experience using Klayvio or other Email Service Provider Platform preferred 
  • Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems independently with a positive mindset 
  • Ability to review and understand Google Analytics data preferred 
  • Computer skills including proficiency in MS Office, Excel.  
  • General knowledge of Adobe creative software, Digital Asset Management & content management systems preferred 
  • General knowledge of file types, formats and specifications for web 
  • Ability to juggle multiple tasks at a time and meet deadlines 
  • Strong attention to detail
