SUMMARY

This position will oversee the creative process, tools and techniques to manage United Radio’s Social Media presence and video creation, through compelling content creation. This person will partner tightly with Senior Management and our Marketing Manager to create a cohesive “Brand” image for United Radio across all platforms from print media, digital media, social media, video and more. Together, the marketing team will work to connect the UR Brand with the right audiences by delivering compelling, data-driven, campaigns that build awareness, drive growth and inspire lasting customer relationships.

Hours are Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm in office only. This is not a work from home or hybrid position.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Work in a team environment to help develop a marketing plan and execute daily marketing initiatives.
  • Assist in the creation and maintenance of a marketing budget.
  • Conduct research to identify market trends to assist in the cultivation of new customers.
  • Champion our brand voice, crafting compelling narratives and content that resonates with our target audience.
  • Foster brand awareness, builds loyalty, and positions us as a market leader.
  • Present design ideas and recommendations to the marketing manager, committee, and/or sales team.
  • Assist with web site design and work to keep the content fresh.
  • Use analytic tools to gather insight on audience behavior, preferences, and success of certain campaigns (engagement rates, shares)
  • Develop content calendars, manage posts, engage with audience
  • Ensure consistency and accuracy of information across all platforms
  • Develop, design and create custom videos and animation for:
    • Internal Training programs
    • Employee communications to be placed on the company intranet
    • External Marketing Campaigns to be placed on social media sites and/or company websites.
  • Ensure compliance with United Radio's policies and procedures, and quality systems.
  • Promote and adhere to United Radio’s Core Values.

Education and Experience: HS Diploma or GED required. 3 – 5 years related experience. Experience in content creation as well as developing a social media presence that influences behavior that builds our brand.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with internal and external customers.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to maintain several projects at once.
  • Experience with SEO and social media algorithms.
  • Video production, planning, shooting, editing, post-production.
  • Familiar with photo and document editing software like: Photoshop, Canva, other photo editing capabilities.
  • Design and optimize content for different formats, platforms, and devices, such as web pages, blogs, social media, email, video, audio, and more
  • Interpret instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • Define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Basic mathematical skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
  • Maintain a positive attitude while working with internal customers and co-workers, while trying to meet conflicting priorities.
