SnugZ is looking for a creative, energetic and highly motivated Social Media Manager & Content Creator to help tell our story through engaging photography, video, social media and digital content.

This is much more than scheduling posts. You'll be behind the camera, in the editing suite, at company events, interviewing employees, showcasing new products and helping shape the voice of one of the promotional products industry's most recognizable brands.

You'll help expand our social presence, increase engagement, grow brand awareness and play an important role in our overall digital marketing strategy.

WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE

Successful candidates will:

  • Consistently create engaging photo and video content that strengthens the SnugZ brand.
  • Produce compelling short-form content for multiple social platforms.
  • Help increase audience engagement and brand awareness.
  • Support new product launches through creative storytelling.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends and continuously bring fresh ideas to the marketing team.
  • Represent the SnugZ brand professionally both online and in person.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Create engaging content, on-brand content through storytelling, product photography, lifestyle photography and short-form video.
  • Capture behind-the-scenes content, employee interviews, product launches and company events.
  • Produce high-quality social-first content optimized for each platform.
  • Assist with creative concepts, scripting and storytelling.
  • Social Media Management to schedule and publish daily content across social media platforms.
  • Tailor messaging and creative assets for each channel's audience.
  • Engage with followers by responding to comments and messages promptly while maintaining a positive brand voice.
  • Monitor conversations and identify opportunities for engagement.
  • Monitor trends, competitors and emerging social platforms.
  • Track performance metrics including engagement, reach, impressions, watch time, click-through rate and follower growth.
  • Provide recommendations based on data to improve future content performance.
  • Utilize AI tools responsibly to improve efficiency while maintaining an authentic brand voice.
  • Assist with trade shows, company events and occasional travel as needed (approximately 5–10% travel).

REQUIRED SKILLS & COMPETENCIES

  • Ability to manage multiple creative projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
  • Strong understanding of current social media trends, storytelling techniques, platform algorithms and short-form video best practices.
  • Extensive knowledge of Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Facebook, YouTube and other relevant platforms.
  • Comfortable appearing on camera and representing the SnugZ brand.
  • Excellent photography composition and visual storytelling skills.
  • Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated, creative and eager to experiment with new ideas.
  • Professional, collaborative and able to thrive within a fast-paced creative environment.

TECHNICAL QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience using social media management platforms such as Sprout Social, Hootsuite or similar.
  • Comfortable using AI tools including ChatGPT, Claude, Canva AI and emerging content creation technologies.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint).
  • REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
  • 2–3 years of professional experience creating and managing social media content for an in-house brand or agency.
  • Demonstrated experience producing engaging photography, video and social media campaigns.
  • Experience analyzing social media metrics and adjusting strategy accordingly.
  • Associate degree or higher preferred but not required.

Experience with any of the following is a plus:

  • Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop, Premiere Pro, Lightroom, Illustrator, After Effects

  • Promotional products industry experience
