Job description

Our Greater Boston area client is looking for a Sr. Marketing Project Specialist with previous experience in a traffic, project or creative services role, ideally with a fashion or retail client. This role is onsite 2 days a week and remote the other 3 and is 30 hours per week.
As the Sr. Marketing Project Specialist, you will haveaccountability for overseeing timelines and milestones for assigned projects and larger initiatives assigned by the Project Management Supervisor or Marketing Project Manager. It also involves consolidating and effectively communicating feedback and ensuring smooth cross channel information flow. This position will coordinate and manages timelines with multiple levels of leadership, cross-channel team members, both internal and external, and any assigned project participants, while adhering to project management processes and strategies.
Major Areas of Responsibility
Manage and oversee a high volume of complex seasonal campaigns within the existing marketing process.
Responsible for overseeing collaborative creative projects across print, digital, social, and motion graphics ensuring alignment with the strategic vision set by stakeholders.
Utilize independent judgement to navigate challenges, remove obstacles, work in the grey and maintain focus in challenging situations to achieve results.
Develop accurate milestones and timelines for projects, ensuring on-time execution from start to finish.
Organize and lead team meetings with multiple levels of management. This includes agenda creation, facilitation of meeting task workflow, meeting notes and feedback capture to help oversee action items for the brand and creative teams.
Maintain a clear and reasonable view of the project during meetings, conversations, or when requirements of the project occur.
Proactively identify priorities and barriers to balance scope & needs, as the project develops throughout the creative process.
Provide recommendations to senior management for problem resolution.
Review and QA content throughout the approval process to ensure quality, consistency and project specifications are met.
Skills required:
Ability to manage an integrated workload of print, e-commerce, social and motion graphic projects to support the business needs.
Provides a diplomatic approach to negotiate challenges and barriers to deliver results through decision making.
Must be detail oriented, resourceful, flexible and can make decisions under tight time constraints.
Ability to move projects through milestones of creative development, approval, revisions, and delivery.
A dynamic self-starter with a strong work ethic, who understands all aspects of a project and how it relates to the larger context of the big picture.
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
Experience with Project Management applications such as Workfront, Workgroups, Project, Basecamp, Smartpath or another workflow software preferred.
Minimum experience required to perform this job.
5 plus years project management, traffic or marketing experience managing creatives, preferably in an agency or a corporate advertising environment.
Experience with digital, social and media process and timetables preferred
Corporate video production experience preferred
