Job Overview:
The Lifecycle Marketing Manager will partner closely with account, creative, media, and analytics teams to build sophisticated lifecycle programs across email, SMS, loyalty, subscriptions, and customer engagement channels. This role requires both strategic leadership and hands-on expertise in marketing automation, segmentation, personalization, and performance optimization.

The ideal candidate combines strong analytical thinking with customer-centric marketing expertise and a deep understanding of modern CRM and retention marketing ecosystems.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the evolution and growth of C Squared Social's Lifecycle Marketing product, including service development, process creation, technology evaluation, and strategic innovation.
  • Lead the creation of customer journey maps and automated lifecycle programs across email, SMS, push notifications, loyalty, and subscription channels.
  • Collaborate with account teams to identify client growth opportunities and develop retention-focused marketing initiatives.
  • Analyze customer behavior and campaign performance to identify opportunities for optimization and growth.
  • Establish audience segmentation, personalization, and testing frameworks to improve campaign effectiveness.
  • Oversee CRM and marketing automation platforms, ensuring best practices in campaign execution and data management.
  • Leverage AI-powered tools and predictive marketing technologies to enhance audience targeting, personalization, content development, and workflow efficiency.
  • Manage, mentor and support lifecycle marketing specialists and cross-functional team members through coaching and strategic guidance.

Requirements

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in lifecycle marketing, CRM, retention marketing, or customer engagement.
  • 3+ years of experience leading marketing teams or managing client-facing strategic initiatives.
  • Deep understanding of customer lifecycle strategy, segmentation, personalization, and marketing automation.
  • Experience with CRM and marketing automation platforms such as Klaviyo, HubSpot, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Braze, Iterable, Attentive, or similar platforms.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience interpreting customer data and translating insights into actionable strategies.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing, branding, and campaign strategy
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and presentation skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and teams in a fast-paced environment
