Shepley Bulfinch is seeking a talented and detail-oriented Writer to support both our Business Development and Marketing Communications teams. While this position is advertised as being based in Hartford, CT, we are considering candidates for hybrid roles at any of our five studio locations.
This role is ideal for a versatile communicator who can translate complex architectural, planning, and design concepts into compelling, audience-focused content. The Writer will be responsible for developing first drafts of proposal and pursuit content, thought leadership articles, award submissions, conference submissions and briefs, project narratives, presentations, website copy, and other strategic communications. The position will also play a key role in maintaining editorial quality across the Firm by supporting copy editing, proofreading, and quality assurance/quality control processes that uphold the Shepley Bulfinch brand. In this role, you'll be a trusted partner to both the Business Development and Marketing Communications teams, producing content that strengthens client relationships, wins new work, and advances the Firm's voice in the industries and communities we serve.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and collaborative content platforms
