Job description

The Global Electronics Association is seeking a Content Marketing Manager. The Content Marketing Manager builds a high-quality, scalable content capability that helps the Global Electronics Association educate audiences, support campaigns, strengthen authority, enable stakeholders, and advance portfolio goals.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Write, edit, and produce marketing content against approved briefs, including web and product pages, one-pagers, email and campaign copy, sales enablement materials, case studies, and collateral.
  • Translate complex technical, membership, event, education, sustainability, and industry-intelligence topics into clear audience-centered content without weakening subject-matter accuracy.
  • Establish and enforce marketing copy standards for voice, tone, clarity, accessibility, terminology, and brand consistency; review content before it ships.
  • Own marketing's contribution to the Association's Substack and member newsletters, coordinating with Communications where channels or editorial responsibilities are shared.
  • Own the content layer of marketing web properties, including landing pages, campaign pages, product pages, and content hubs; keep content current and aligned with approved positioning.
  • Maintain a structured library of approved marketing assets, templates, messaging resources, case studies, and reusable content.
  • Partner with Product Marketing Leads to understand strategic intent and with the Digital Campaign Manager to supply channel-ready content on schedule.
  • Coordinate with the Creative Director and Graphic Designer so written and visual execution reinforce one another.
  • Manage approved external writers or freelancers, including briefs, editorial direction, quality review, and deadline management.
  • Use available performance insight to improve content effectiveness while preserving the distinction between content production and portfolio strategy.

REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, journalism, English, public relations, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years' Content Marketing experience.
  • Progressive experience writing and managing B2B, association, technical, or complex portfolio content; exceptional writing, editing, interviewing, and message-simplification skills supported by a relevant portfolio; experience across web, email, campaign, newsletter, collateral, and enablement formats.
  • Experience producing and managing content across web, email, newsletter, campaign, collateral, and content-library environments.
  • Working knowledge of search-informed content practices, accessibility, content performance, and responsible use of AI-assisted writing tools.
  • Experience in electronics, manufacturing, engineering, standards, sustainability, workforce development, events, education, or another technical field; experience in a trade association, membership organization, or global B2B environment a plus.
  • Experience managing web content, newsletters, content libraries, freelancers, and approval workflows a plus.
