Full-time

Posted 16 days ago

Job description

Description

American Motion Group (AMG) is a family of manufacturing and distribution companies, including Depatie Fluid Power, Thread-Craft, CKC Automation, and International Fluid Power, serving mobile, industrial, OEM, and engineering markets across the United States. AMG is building its marketing function from the ground up, and this role is a core part of that build.

This is a full-time Marketing Associate role for someone one to four years out of school. You'll work directly with AMG's executive team and business unit leaders to build the marketing strategy for American Motion Group and its business units from the ground up, and execute across every function: social media, campaigns, branding, websites, content, employer branding, and business development, across every AMG company.

We're looking for someone ambitious: a self-starter who's eager to learn, works well with a team, and wants to build the strategy and own the execution end to end of a growing company.

Requirements

What You'll Do

Marketing Strategy & Execution

  • Build and own the strategy behind AMG's websites, ad campaigns, collateral, and social media, across every AMG company.
  • Manage and update company websites optimized for search and performance using tracking tools
  • Develop marketing materials (newsletters, blogs, sell sheets, promotional content), using AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, Canva) to move fast from concept to finished piece.
  • Build and schedule social content across LinkedIn and Facebook, designed to grow AMG's audience and support the broader campaign strategy.
  • Track campaign and content performance and use those results to refine the gameplan.
  • Own the relationship with our marketing vendor, with the goal of insourcing this work over time.

Business Development Support

  • Support marketing automation functions within AMG's CRM, including email/nurture campaigns, lead capture, and tagging.
  • Manage email marketing to customers and distributors, including list management, scheduling, and segmentation.
  • Support market mapping research to find opportunities across AMG's end markets.
  • Track lead sources and ROI on ad campaigns across companies, tying spend back to results.
  • Build BD-focused marketing materials and content (blogs, social posts, campaigns) in direct support of business development efforts across AMG.
  • Manage website lead forms and tracking across all AMG company sites.

Employer Brand & Recruiting Support

  • Own employer brand content (employee spotlights, "why work here" messaging) in coordination with the Human Resources Manager.
  • Build materials for job fairs and recruiting events, including booth displays and candidate one-pagers, and represent AMG at select events as scheduling allows.
  • Help design and coordinate company swag and branded recruiting items.

What We're Looking For

Required

  • Degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field. 1 to 3 years of experience preferred, not required.
  • A self-starter who wants ownership. Organized enough to run multiple workstreams without close oversight.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, YouTube) and content scheduling.
  • Comfortable using AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, Canva, and similar) as everyday working tools.

Preferred

  • Basic understanding of website management tools and design software (Figma, Adobe Creative Suite).
  • Interest in employer branding, recruiting marketing, business development.
  • Industrial / manufacturing industry exposure.
  • Photo / video skills.
