We're looking for a Content Creator, Social who can develop compelling, platform-native content that strengthens Bauer's brand and connects with hockey players around the world.
The role is responsible for bringing the Bauer brand to life across social media through original, engaging content. You will develop concepts, captures and edit content, and collaborate closely with videographers, designers, strategists, and product teams to tell authentic brand and product stories that inspire players and grow our global community.
Success in this role requires creative vision, strong production and editing skills, and a deep understanding of social media platforms, audience behavior, and emerging trends. The ideal candidate is collaborative, self-motivated, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities:

  • Develop creative concepts and produce engaging social video content across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, and emerging platforms.
  • Capture and edit photo and video content in Bauer's content studio, as well as at athlete shoots and industry events.
  • Create platform-native content that aligns with Bauer's brand while maximizing engagement and performance across each channel.
  • Adapt and version content across platforms, primarily short form to the right aspect ratios, audience, regions, and campaign objectives while maintaining a consistent creative idea.
  • Collaborate with athletes and creators to bring compelling stories to life.
  • Write strong hooks, captions, scripts, interview questions, titles, that reflect Bauer's voice and encourage engagement.
  • Support the planning and execution of campaigns, product launches, and always-on content initiatives.
  • Monitor social media trends, audience behavior, and platform updates to identify opportunities for timely and relevant content.
  • Optimize creative based on performance data, audience insights, and platform best practices.
  • Support real-time content capture and publishing during live events.
  • Maintain organized project files and deliver assets that meet production timelines and brand standards.
  • Travel as needed to support content productions, events, and marketing initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • BS or BA in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field- or equivalent years of relevant and related experience.
  • 3+ years related industry experience of hands-on creation of digital content for social media and other platforms.
  • Require a portfolio or reel demonstrating platform-native social content, including short-form vertical video, storytelling, editing, and work created for brands, athletes, creators, or sports properties.
  • Experience shooting video content, editing long- and short-form content, editing, and post-production (editing, coloring, audio engineering, titles, graphics, etc.)
  • Proven video experience for social media and digital platforms, including Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and websites with a focus on mobile-first.
  • Fluent in social media strategy, trends & intricacies of platforms and the algorithms that drive them.
  • High degree of proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects)
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, a flexible and adaptable attitude, and ability to effectively communicate at all levels of organization.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, deadline-oriented environment.
  • Passion for hockey with an overall understanding of sports is preferred.
  • Adjusts quickly to changing priorities and business needs.
  • This is a primarily onsite role, with an expected in-office schedule.
  • Travel as needed and/or required by essential job functions.
