The Business Development Manager, reporting into the Senior Director of BD, will be responsible for the Business Development for across a variety of fields including; content classification, carbon emissions, Retail Media, emerging markets (audio, gaming, etc), DV Publisher Suite and expansion or other publisher related services. DV also partners with the largest publishers and platforms across the globe to enable our mutual advertiser clients to utilize DV services wherever they buy, leading to a safer, more secure and trusted ecosystem. The Business Development Manager will be responsible for delivering the strategy and management of DV's partnerships that support both Advertiser and Publisher Services, driving deeper integration with current partners and leading and closing new partnerships and greater usage of DV services.
What You'll Do:
  • Expand DoubleVerify's presence in commerce media by securing measurement tag adoption across key networks and platforms. Build and strengthen stakeholder relationships, collaborate with internal teams to refine marketing materials and commercial offerings, and engage industry leaders to advance DoubleVerify's market position.
  • Enable and manage strategic partnerships with attention, outcomes, and creative analytics providers in collaboration with the DoubleVerify Attention Product team, enhancing data interoperability, expanding analytical insights, and strengthening performance-driven measurement, creative effectiveness, and outcomes-based optimization across DoubleVerify's measurement offerings.
  • Support existing integrations and expand connection partnerships with third-party ad technology providers for DoubleVerify Publisher Suite to enhance coverage and capabilities of DV's revenue analytics suite.
  • Collaborate with ad server partners to ensure seamless technical integration of DoubleVerify Publisher Suite's Inventory Quality within third-party ad serving environments, facilitating scalable deployment and reliable measurement across campaigns.
  • Drive adoption of DoubleVerify's measurement solutions across audio, gaming, and DOOH by engaging key stakeholders, addressing technical requirements, and executing strategic growth plans that accelerate advertiser measurement adoption while aligning partner capabilities with advertiser needs and DoubleVerify's broader measurement strategy
  • Support a wide range of DoubleVerify internal teams including Policy, Classification, Legal, and other cross-functional stakeholders by facilitating contract negotiations, vendor onboarding, and operational alignment to ensure successful partnership execution.
  • Support and grow DoubleVerify's carbon emissions measurement partnership with Impact Plus by advancing integration efforts, aligning sustainability metrics with advertiser priorities, and expanding adoption of environmentally focused measurement solutions.
  • Partner with DoubleVerify's Classification and Measurement Product teams to support the development and deployment of advanced AI-driven classification capabilities, ensuring accurate, scalable analysis of publisher content across platforms and environments.
  • Work cross-functionally with the DoubleVerify Measurement Platform team to establish integrations with cloud computing marketplaces, enabling secure, scalable access to DV measurement solutions through cloud-native environments.
  • Manage and expand advertiser ad server integration partnerships by driving broader tag coverage and providing hands-on technical support; ensuring seamless activation and enhanced measurement capabilities across all major ad serving environments.

In order to be successful in this role, the candidate must:
  • Work closely with Business Development, Product, Engineering, Commercial teams, and executive leadership to shape, execute, and continuously evolve DV's partnership strategy.
  • Drive both strategic planning and tactical execution to build and scale partnerships with technology and media partners that strengthen DV's publisher services and address identified partnership gaps.
  • Develop and apply a deep understanding of publisher advertising technology, infrastructure, and integrations to effectively represent DV from both a commercial and technical standpoint.
  • Build and maintain strong, trusted relationships across partner organizations at all levels-from executive leadership to field and operational teams-while proactively generating new partnerships through cold outreach.
  • Act as a primary advocate for DV's needs by clearly articulating technical and commercial requirements to partners and working in close partnership with Product leadership to ensure alignment and delivery.
  • Represent DV externally through clear, compelling communication, including presenting to large audiences, engaging senior stakeholders, and participating in industry panels and events

Who You Are:
  • Demonstrated strong understanding of the digital advertising technology ecosystem, including ad verification services, measurement solutions, and the technical infrastructure that supports publisher platforms and advertiser needs.
  • 5+ year relevant work experience
  • In-depth knowledge of the global publisher landscape and broader ad tech ecosystem, with a strong preference for candidates who have direct experience working within ad tech companies or the advertising industry and a clear understanding of market dynamics and industry trends.
  • Proven ability to establish and maintain trusted, senior-level relationships, effectively navigate complex partner organizations, and lead strategic, high-impact deals to successful closure within compressed timelines.
  • Experience working in close partnership with product management and technical teams to jointly define priorities, align on requirements, and drive cross-functional initiatives forward to successful execution.
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution preferred, or equivalent professional experience demonstrating the skills and expertise required for the role.

The successful candidate's starting salary will be determined based on a number of non-discriminating factors, including qualifications for the role, level, skills, experience, location, and balancing internal equity relative to peers at DV. The estimated salary range for this role based on the qualifications set forth in the job description is between $79,000 to $129,000. This role will also be eligible for bonus/commission (as applicable), equity, and benefits.
