Job Title: Corporate Partnerships Manager Reports to: Director of Development

Salary Range: $85,000 โ€“ $95,000

The Mission

At Sonrisas Dental Health, we believe that a healthy smile is for everyone. As a safety net dental provider, we are dedicated to providing access to high quality dental care and oral health education to those in need. We serve 10,000 community members through clinical care and community-based programming each year.

The Opportunity

Sonrisasโ€™ Development team raises $3.5 million annually to fill critical care gaps and sustain community-based oral health programming for those in need. We are supported by the generosity of grant partners, event sponsors, and individual donors in this endeavor.

As the Corporate Partnerships Manager, you will be the primary executor of Sonrisasโ€™ corporate engagement strategy. You will help build a community brand that positions Sonrisas as the premier social impact collaborator for corporations in the Bay Area. Working closely with the Director of Development and organizational leadership, you will help connect business goals to social good, coordinating relations that ensure our clinics have the resources to change lives.

The Team

Our Development staff is led by the Director of Development, supported by a Development Associate and consultants supporting grant management and event logistics. The Corporate Partnership Manager position is a new addition to the expanding team.

Our team, strategy, and activities are also supported by the CEO and the Boardโ€™s Development Committee.

Key Impact Areas
  • Sponsorship Solicitation & Relationship Growth: Help identify high-value corporate sponsorship opportunities and take ownership of solicitation and closing. Connect partners with additional opportunities (such as corporate grants) to appropriate department personnel.
  • Brand Narrative & Communications: Lead content development for high-quality publications, impact reports, and social media content that tell the story of our partnersโ€™ impact.
  • Event Leadership: Lead execution of the sponsorship strategy for our signature events, ensuring our partners receive worldโ€‘class visibility and a meaningful return on their social investment.
  • Volunteer Management: Build and manage a fullyโ€‘fledged corporate and event volunteering program at Sonrisas.
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned to support Development operations and objectives.
Who You Are
  • A Natural Storyteller: You have 4+ years of experience in PR, Marketing, or Development. You know how to frame a pitch as an opportunity.
  • Results Driven: You have a proven track record in sponsorships or business development. You enjoy the โ€œwinโ€ of securing a new partnership.
  • A Creative Executor: You are proficient in Canva and CRM databases (like Bloomerang). You donโ€™t just have ideas; you can design the deck and track the data.
  • Organized & Agile: You can provide clear tasks for senior leadership while maintaining a semiโ€‘flexible schedule to support events and special projects.
  • Crossโ€‘Functional Collaborator: You take deep ownership of your primary portfolio but maintain a flexible mindset, ready to brainstorm, pivot, or lend a hand to colleagues when priorities shift.
The Essentials
  • Proven ability to manage complex projects and highโ€‘value relationships with senior leadership and external stakeholders.
  • Experience designing highโ€‘quality publications, social media posts, and marketing collateral in tools such as Canva.
  • Demonstrated success in nonโ€‘profit or business development, and/or sponsorship sales.
