Are you the person who notices the story before everyone else does?

Role Purpose
The MoveBuddy Content Creator captures and produces authentic visual content that brings MoveBuddy’s people, partnerships, events, and community to life. Build a consistent library of content that supports digital campaigns, showcases the MoveBuddy experience, and keeps the brand relevant across all audiences.

15% Moving Partners & Service Providers

5% Events, Community & Corporate Initiatives

Key Responsibilities

Content Production

·         Capture professional-quality photo and video content for MoveBuddy’s digital channels.

·         Film interviews, testimonials, educational content, partner stories, and behind-the-scenes moments.

·         Edit both high-production, evergreen content and fast-turnaround, reactive content that keeps MoveBuddy part of current industry conversations.

·         Create timely, low-production videos that respond to industry news, market trends, partner updates, and emerging conversations.

·         Prepare simple branded assets including title screens, captions, logos, and basic image treatments.


Event & Partnership Coverage

·         Attend industry events, sponsorships, partner meetings, and community activations.

·         Capture authentic moments, conversations, and experiences.

·         Ensure every event produces a variety of reusable content for future campaigns.

Story Development & Asset Management

·         Identify authentic stories happening across the MoveBuddy community.

·         Build and maintain an organized library of photo and video assets.

·         Ensure content is organized, accessible, and ready to support future campaigns.


Key Performance Indicators

·         Produce a consistent pipeline of high-quality evergreen content.

·         Deliver timely, reactive content that keeps MoveBuddy relevant within the real estate community.

·         Maximize the amount of usable content captured from every event, partnership, and customer interaction.

·         Deliver low-cost, high-volume content that supports multiple campaigns and channels.

·         Build and maintain a growing library of reusable content assets.

·         Maintain a consistent visual style across all MoveBuddy content.

·         Deliver content on schedule to support digital campaigns.

Position Details

·         Employment Type: Full-time, 6-month contract

·         Compensation: $22–26/hour, based on experience

·         Location: Hybrid. Preference will be given to candidates based in or near one of MoveBuddy’s core markets: Vancouver, Calgary, Toronto, or Ottawa.

·         Start Date: As soon as possible
