Direct Hire Quality Containment Lead โ€“ Automotive Manufacturing

Pay: $25.00 โ€“ $30.00 per hour(based on experience), Overtime available as needed

**Schedule: Monday โ€“ Friday | 7:00 AM โ€“ 3:00 PM, **Overtime as needed based on production and customer demands

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-orientedQuality Containment Leadto support quality containment operations within a fast-paced, high-volume automotive manufacturing environment.

This role is responsible for overseeing daily EPC/MRB activities, coordinating product flow with Shipping and Production Control, managing containment activities, and maintaining traceability of non-conforming material throughout the facility.

The ideal candidate is a strong floor leader with experience in quality inspection, inventory tracking, containment processes, and automotive manufacturing operations.

What Youโ€™ll Own

Quality Containment & EPC Oversight

  • Coordinate and support all daily EPC and containment activities
  • Inspect non-conforming and suspect material requiring EPC/sorting activities
  • Direct daily priorities and expectations for EPC auditors and containment personnel
  • Ensure quality containment processes are completed efficiently and accurately

MRB & Traceability Management

  • Maintain full tracking and traceability of all parts placed in the QC Hold area
  • Ensure MRB and EPC tracking logs are properly maintained and updated
  • Monitor repeat non-conformances and escalate recurring issues to management

Production Flow & Inventory Coordination

  • Work closely with:
  • Support product flow through the EPC area to ensure customer delivery expectations are met
  • Maintain and report RMA inventory to Quality leadership
  • UtilizePLEX ERP systemfor inventory tracking and control activities

Reporting & Metrics

  • Provide daily reporting to Departmental Management regarding:
  • Track weekly metrics related to:

Team Leadership & Coordination

  • Work with the QC Manager to coordinate:
  • Support a positive, accountable, and team-focused work environment
  • Provide leadership and direction to containment personnel on the floor

Area Organization & Staging

  • Maintain proper product staging and containment area organization
  • Ensure all suspect and non-conforming material is properly identified and controlled

Required Qualifications:

  • Manufacturing quality inspection

  • EPC/sorting operations

  • MRB environments

  • Experience working inhigh-volume automotive manufacturing

  • Strong organizational and communication skills
