Role Description The Container Drayage Scheduler/Dispatcher is a full-time, on-site role based in Brampton, ON. This role is responsible for planning and scheduling daily container drayage operations, assigning loads to drivers, and coordinating pick-ups and deliveries from rail yards, and customer facilities. The scheduler/dispatcher monitors driver progress, updates schedules as needed, and communicates changes clearly to drivers and customers. Daily tasks include maintaining accurate records in dispatch systems, resolving operational issues, collaborating with yard staff to optimize container movements, and ensuring adherence to safety and compliance requirements.
