SUMMARY OF JOB: The Sales Associate provides the support to the Management Team by providing products to all customers and maintaining a conducive work environment. To accomplish these tasks, the Sales Associate works closely with the Store Manager, Assistant Manager, and customers.


DAILY DUTIES:


  1. Ensures that all activities conform to Trexcon policies and procedures.
  2. Communicate effectively and appropriately with all staff members.
  3. React to change productively and handle other tasks as assigned. Remains flexible in daily routine.
  4. Support the mission statement and Core Values of Trexcon.
  5. Give fast, friendly customer service.
  6. Promote the Smart Rewards Program.
  7. Brew coffee and clean fountain areas.
  8. Maintain a clean parking lot (sweeping, hosing & picking up trash).
  9. Wipe down gas dispensers.
  10. Check in vendors using the current scanning process.
  11. Restock coolers and freezers.
  12. Sweep & Mop floors.
  13. Stock and clean roller grills.
  14. Stock & front products on shelves.
  15. Clean and stock fountain and coffee areas.
  16. Clean restrooms.
  17. Attend store team meetings.
  18. Bag ice.
  19. Finalize shift paperwork.
  20. Empty trash containers inside and outside of the store.
  21. Check in gas deliveries.
  22. Pick up outside trash.
  23. Clean sidewalks and parking lots.
  24. Clean donut case.
  25. Adhere to and perform duties as defined in the Restaurant Clerks job description if applicable.
  26. Accurately perform money transaction on the register.
  27. Other duties as assigned by the Manager or Assistant Manager.


Requirements:

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS OF THE POSITION:


  1. Requires prolonged standing.
  2. Requires physical exertion to manually move, lift at least 55 lbs., carry, pull, or push heavy objects or materials.
  3. Occasional stooping, bending, reaching and climbing ladders or step stools.
  4. Requires some travel.
