KMTC USA Corporation is the U.S. subsidiary of Korea Marine Transport Co., Ltd. (KMTC), a global container carrier headquartered in Korea. KMTC operates an international container shipping network connecting major trade lanes across Asia and other regions. We are establishing and expanding our U.S. presence in Tempe, AZ and nearby cities, and we are seeking motivated, capable professionals who want to grow with us.

Job Summary

Responsible for managing container equipment inventory, availability, and movement across the U.S. network. This role ensures optimal equipment utilization while supporting cost control and operational efficiency.


Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor container availability, depot inventory levels, and equipment flows
  • Coordinate container positioning, repositioning, and allocation
  • Manage repair, maintenance, and off-hire requests with vendors and depots
  • Track key performance indicators (turn time, utilization, exceptions, etc.)
  • Communicate effectively with terminals, depots, trucking companies, and internal teams
  • Support equipment-related cost analysis and reporting
  • Maintain accurate records in internal equipment management systems
  • This role may require flexibility to support evolving business and operational needs


Qualifications

  • 13 years of experience in sales operations, sales support, administrative, or coordination roles
  • Bachelors degree preferred
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, cross-functional, and international environment
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship. (Form I-9 verification required upon hire)
  • Shipping or logistics experience is a plus but not required
  • Must be able to work onsite at the assigned office location


Work Schedule: M-F (Standard Business Hours local time)
