Job Summary:
We are seeking a Trailer/Container Mechanic to join our team at our Kansas City, Missouri location. This position is responsible for performing maintenance and repairs on trailers and containers including brakes, suspension systems, tires, and more. We are currently looking for a mechanic to join our 1st or 2nd shift. Overtime opportunities available based on the business needs of the shop.
Trailer/Container Mechanic Duties:
  • Complete repairs on chassis and containers using MIG and stick welding
  • Inspect and repair lights, brakes, suspension, and frames on chassis
  • Repair and replace container floors
  • Mount tires onto chassis
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with chassis and containers
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed on equipment in TMW software
  • Other duties as assigned
