Sales Manager – Hydraulics amp; Containers
Position Summary
The Sales Manager – Hydraulics amp; Containers is responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding market share, and developing strong customer relationships for hydraulic repair services, hydraulic components, fabricated hydraulic systems, mobile hydraulic services, and container sales and service operations. This position serves as a key leader in identifying new business opportunities, managing customer accounts, and supporting strategic growth initiatives across the company's service territory.
The ideal candidate is a motivated sales professional with strong industry knowledge, exceptional relationship-building skills, and a proven ability to generate new business while maintaining long-term customer partnerships. This role requires regular travel to customer locations, industry events, and company facilities.
Responsibilities
  • Sales amp; Business Development
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to increase revenue and profitability for hydraulic and container divisions.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within municipal, commercial, industrial, transportation, construction, waste, towing, and manufacturing markets.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers and purchasing contacts.
  • Conduct customer visits, facility tours, and sales presentations.
  • Prepare and present quotes, proposals, and service agreements.
  • Negotiate pricing and contracts while maintaining company profit objectives.
Customer Relationship Management

  • Develop opportunities for preventative maintenance programs and fleet support services.
Container Sales amp; Service
  • Generate sales opportunities for container sales, repairs, modifications, and related services.
  • Build relationships with waste management, recycling, construction, and industrial customers.
  • Identify opportunities for long-term service agreements and fleet expansion.
  • Marketing amp; Industry Engagement
  • Represent the company at trade shows, customer events, and industry associations.
  • Assist with marketing initiatives that promote company services and capabilities.
  • Gather customer feedback and market intelligence to support strategic planning.
  • Reporting amp; Performance Management
  • Maintain accurate customer records, opportunities, and sales activities within the CRM system.
Track and report:

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
