About This Role:
CPG is currently hiring a Driver Recruiter for our team in Columbus, OH!
The Driver Recruiter will be responsible for the recruitment of qualified Owner Operators and establish a pipeline for sufficient future driver demands.

Your typical day looks like:
  • Conducting day-to-day Owner Operators recruiting activities, following recruiting processes and acting as a resource on all points of the recruitment cycle.
  • Creatively sourcing and developing a pool of qualified Owner Operator applicants using traditional and non-traditional techniques including social media channels, cold calling/direct sourcing, networking, job fairs, employment agencies, internet searches, postings, etc.
  • Cold calling lead apps, short forms, previous IntelliApps etc.
  • Communicating our driver opportunities to prospective candidates.
  • Determining qualified Owner Operators by pulling and reviewing background and MVR reports, interviewing applicants, analyzing responses, and comparing qualifications to independent contractor requirements.
  • Working with other departments and terminal personnel to ensure all required application files are obtained and submitted.

The ideal candidate will possess:
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in sourcing, recruiting, interviewing, and contracting Owner Operators in a corporate environment.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Proven success in using creative sourcing techniques to produce diverse, quality, potential candidate pools
  • Strong engagement and partnership skills and the ability to both understand and deliver to the recruitment needs
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Meets deadlines, meets, and exceeds KPIs
  • Ability to make decisions promptly
  • Effectively communicates with others
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Previous experience with Tenstreet preferred but not required.
