The Retail Puller position is a critical role which serves as an intermediary between Retailer personnel and the UL Solutions testing laboratories.  The Puller position is responsible for accurately researching and identifying online products and products on store shelves which require testing; as well as procurement and transport of the product.

  • Associates Degree and/or relevant experience preferred; minimum of high school diploma and one year related experience required
  • Must be very well organized and capable of managing many projects simultaneously
  • Must work with a sense of urgency and attention to detail.
  • Previous merchandising experience / familiarity with client's product mix is a strong plus    
  • Advanced Excel and Retail Link is a plus
  • Must be familiar with other Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to effectively communicate information and respond to questions in person-to-person and small group situations with customers, clients, general public and other employees of the organization.
  • Can move and/or transport products weighing up to 25 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Establish cordial, respectful relationship with Walmart store associates

  • Analyze testing history to determine if in-store testing is required

  • Understand and apply all relevant in-store testing rules (Hardlines, Softlines, and Homelines) to determine merchandise ready for testing

  • Work with specific pull lists to acquire exactly what is required to satisfy a request and/or complete testing

  • Work closely with other In-Store Auditors to ensure sample requests are complete & accurate

  • Work with Receiving area to count-in merchandise and assist with grouping

  • Support all of client's pulling activity, as requested (e.g. visit other retailers for benchmark shopping trips and assist with other sample handling as needed etc.)

  • Associate's time could be split between office-based analytical work (identifying merchandise to pull / test), and in-store pulling activity

  • Perform any other related duties as required or assigned
