Description

Summary:
The Private Bank Service Specialist III, as part of Huntington Private Bank, is responsible for the day-to-day activities and interaction between the client and Huntington Bank in terms of establishment of documentation, maintenance, and servicing of the relationship.  Partners with one or more Private Bank Premier Wealth Advisors to support the sales process and deliver exceptional service to our clients. The Service Specialist III is also responsible for maintaining a detailed level of knowledge of products and services to provide Service Excellence for our clients. The Service Specialist III will maintain focus and awareness of identifying, assessing, and managing risk and adhering to policies and procedures. Service coverage for multiple practices (Private Banking, Trust, & Investment Management).

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the day-to-day activities and interaction between the client and Huntington in terms of establishment, documentation, maintenance and servicing of the relationship, including but not limited to personal and business deposit accounts, wealth & investment management accounts and services, consumer lending and mortgages.
  • Assists with or leads special projects, as requested by manager and partners.  Assists in training new and existing service specialists.  
  • Acts as a key resource and mentor for other Service Specialists across the footprint.  
  • Helps resolve complex support issues.
  • Responsible for focus and awareness of identifying, assessing and managing risk and adhering to policy and procedure acknowledgements.
  •  Participate in identifying issues of concern and keeping department management informed as needed.  
  • Provides administrative support for one or more advisors and is responsible for the day-to-day activities and interaction between the client and Huntington, in terms of the establishment, documentation, maintenance and servicing of the relationship. Maintains an effective rapport with clients and Huntington personnel.
  • Services customers by providing detailed information on specific accounts and disbursing funds as appropriate.
  • Responsible for identifying, researching, analyzing and resolving complex problems with accounts.
  • Makes routine decisions in the absence of an officer.
  • Advises and counsels clients on bank products and services.
  • Assists the Advisor(s) by processing and maintaining accurate and complete documentation. May attend meetings and presentations independently or with an officer.
  • Compiles information from a variety of sources to prepare various reports.
  • Communicates information by composing memos and correspondence to clients, officers, attorneys, agencies and others. Maintains up to date knowledge and may train others on products, services,
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma, GED or equivalent education                                       
  • 2 years customer service experience in banking or Wealth & Investment Financial Services experience
  • Notary public

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor's degree
  • NMLS license will be required within the first 120 days
  • Strong Interpersonal skills
  • Excellent Customer Service, highly motivated, focused and goal oriented.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail, planning and follow-up.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including professional grammar and demeanor.
  • Ability to work in fast paced environment with strict deadlines.
  • Is able to work independently.
  • Administrative experience with financial services industry preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of Huntington applications

This position can sit anywhere in the Huntington footprint but will be required to be in office.

Compensation Range:


The compensation range represents the anticipated low and high end of the base compensation range for this position. Actual compensation will vary based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and education.  Colleagues in this position are also eligible to participate in an applicable incentive compensation plan.  In addition, Huntington provides a variety of benefits to colleagues, including health insurance coverage, wellness program, life and disability insurance, retirement savings plan, paid leave programs, paid holidays and paid time off (PTO).
