Job Description

This position is fully responsible for the attainment of all Direct Consumer Loan production goals as well as working as part of a global group towards the highest levels of member satisfaction and attainment of other KPI goals. Consumer loans will be originated, and loan closings will be facilitated/funded by members of the lending sales team via our center network, lending center, web, video calls, or other delivery methods. All members of the lending sales team will be charged with helping existing members, and potential members maximize the benefits of their Wings relationship.

This will be accomplished through

  • A consultative sale/service approach that helps members realize the value of product and service offerings here at Wings; whether they be consumer loan related or otherwise
  • Through account management and business development endeavors that will include both internal and outbound pursuits.
  • By utilizing their expertise, training and experience to help members in a productive financial counseling capacity (help members make the best use of their money) at all levels of the consumer lending process, including delivering denial loan decisions.


Essential Functions

  • Interview applicants about financial history and future financial goals while submitting loan applications. Provide a channel where members can receive the highest level of expertise and guidance through their loan process to accomplish their financial goals.
  • Internal and External Business Development and Account Retention/Management. Control loan runoff and increase interest/fee income.
  • Reporting and tracking. Help identify trends that can be addressed to improve service and productivity.
  • Supporting Education and Service Teams. Provide means to reach service level agreements.
  • Self Development in the areas of personal/consumer finance and sales. Improve effectiveness and profitability.
  • Bank Secrecy Act: Remains cognizant of and adheres to Wings policies and procedures, and regulations pertaining to the Bank Secrecy Act.
Qualifications

Minimum Formal Qualifications for this Position:

  • High School Diploma/G.E.D. or equivalent. required
  • 2+ years' experience in a financial services institution, required to include:
    • 6+ months experience Consumer Loan Origination with a financial services institution (e.g. bank, credit union, consumer finance company, or lender), including products such as auto loans, personal loans, unsecured loans, home equity loans, or HELOCs.ย Required.
  • 1+ years' experience as an Wingsย MSR-LC. preferred

Technical or Specialized Knowledge/Skills:

  • Knowledge of Credit Reporting/Scoring.
  • Knowledge of Personal Finance - auto buying, real estate lending, current affairs related to consumer Finance.
  • Knowledge of Lending Regulations related to consumer lending.
  • Strong critical thinking / analytical.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Capacity to learn and execute new sales skills.
  • Typing skills - 30 words per minute or more.
  • 10 Key by touch.
  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Lending Software.

Additional Information

The pay range for this position is: $22 to $25.50 per Hour (S12), plus monthly incentives (Average monthly incentive $3,000 per month, up to $7,500 per month),ย and 3% annual target bonus.


Final compensation for this position will be determined by various factors such as relevant work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, certifications, location and internal pay equity.
