  • Collaborate with Senior Leadership to develop innovative lending strategies that align with organizational goals and risk appetite.
  • Own lending production, pipeline management, and performance reporting.
  • Monitor application volume, approval ratios, and loan production trends to identify opportunities and operational bottlenecks.
  • Ensure outstanding service delivery throughout the lending process.
Lending Innovation amp; Process Improvement
  • Lead implementation of new lending technology, systems, and process improvements.
  • Manage projects from initial concept through implementation, testing, training, and post-launch support.
  • Partner with retail lending teams to improve workflow efficiency between origination, underwriting, processing, and funding.
  • Support lending initiatives that expand access to credit through second-look reviews, responsible counteroffers, and consistent decision-making practices.
Risk Management amp; Compliance
  • Maintain administration and oversight of the Credit Union's consumer loan portfolios to ensure quality and soundness.
  • Support loan decisioning activities within established lending authority.
  • Provide backup underwriting support, including review and approval of standard and complex loan requests.
  • Ensure compliance with Credit Union policies and all applicable state and federal lending regulations.
  • Maintain expertise in BSA, AML, CIP, CDD, and lending compliance requirements.
Relationship Management
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with business partners, dealers, team members, and members.
  • Promote Vibe Credit Union products and services that provide value to members while supporting organizational growth.
  • Stay informed of industry trends, market changes, and emerging lending technologies.
What We're Looking For:

  • Experience developing lending policies and procedures preferred.
  • Home equity lending experience and knowledge of real estate lending operations strongly preferred.
  • Experience with Corelation KeyStone or similar lending/core systems preferred.
Skills amp; Abilities

  • Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
  • Ability to use data and reporting to drive decisions and measure performance.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strategic thinker with a passion for process improvement and innovation.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure while delivering exceptional member service.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Travel between Waterford Operations and Novi Headquarters
Why You'll Love It Here:
  • You'll lead a team that helps members achieve financial goals through meaningful lending solutions.
  • You'll have the opportunity to shape the future of consumer lending at a growing Credit Union.
  • You'll drive innovation through new technology, systems, and process improvements.
  • You'll work closely with leadership to create lending strategies that expand access to credit and strengthen communities.
