Job description

The Role
The Insights Strategist partners closely with customers to ensure they run best-in-class research on Dialogue-while also feeding real-world research learnings back into the product.
You'll help customers design strong studies, interpret insights, and get real value from Dialogue, while shaping how the platform encodes research best practices over time.
This role is ideal for someone who:
  • Has run real qualitative studies
  • Loves working directly with customers
  • Wants to influence how research tools are built-not just used
What You'll Do
Customer Success & Research Partnership
  • Act as a trusted research partner for customers during onboarding, pilots, and ongoing usage
  • Advise customers on study design, question framing, participant selection, and synthesis
  • Review studies and outputs to ensure research quality and methodological rigor
  • Help customers translate insights into clear, actionable takeaways
  • Support renewals and expansions by driving visible customer value
Research Best Practices โ†’ Product
  • Identify patterns in how customers run studies and where they get stuck
  • Translate qualitative research best practices into platform guidance, defaults, and workflows
  • Partner with Product and Engineering to refine Dialogue's research frameworks
  • Help define what "great research" looks like inside the platform
  • Contribute to templates, playbooks, and internal research standards
Internal Enablement
  • Create customer-facing resources (best practice guides, example studies, frameworks)
  • Support Sales and Marketing with research-informed narratives and examples
  • Provide feedback loops on customer needs, objections, and wins
What We're Looking For
Required
  • 2+ years of hands-on qualitative research experience (UX, consumer, product, or market research)
  • Experience designing and moderating interviews, concept tests, or usability studies
  • Strong understanding of qualitative research fundamentals and best practices
  • Comfort working directly with customers and stakeholders
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills
Nice to Have
  • Experience in a fast-moving startup or SaaS environment
  • Background in UX research, consumer insights, or mixed methods
  • Familiarity with research platforms (UserTesting, Dovetail, Maze, etc.)
  • Interest in AI-powered tools and workflows
  • Experience turning research into repeatable systems or templates
Why This Role Matters
  • You'll directly shape how customers experience Dialogue
  • You'll influence how qualitative research best practices are embedded into an AI product
  • You'll work across customers, product, and leadership
  • You'll help define a new category of AI-native research workflows
Who You Might Be
  • A researcher who wants to stay close to the craft-but have broader impact
  • A customer-facing research partner who enjoys teaching and advising
  • Someone excited to help define the future of qualitative research tooling
