MariTide represents a potential transformational opportunity to address obesity and related metabolic diseases.

The Consumer Marketing Director will serve as the consumer marketing lead responsible for shaping and executing the consumer vision for MariTide. This individual will lead the development of breakthrough consumer campaigns, oversee creative and content production, build the consumer engagement ecosystem, drive impactful digital and social activations, and build and lead a high-performing consumer marketing team.

Responsibilities Strategic Leadership
  • Lead the development and execution of the US consumer marketing strategy for MariTide.

  • Define the long-term consumer engagement vision across digital, social, CRM, advocacy, experiential, and emerging channels.

  • Provide strategic guidance on media planning, channel investment decisions, and tentpole activations.

  • Build alignment across commercial, medical, access, analytics, and corporate affairs teams.

  • Build the consumer marketing function and operating model needed to support launch and long-term growth.

Consumer Marketing Strategy and Execution
  • Lead campaign development, validation, production, launch, and optimization.

  • Translate consumer insights into compelling positioning, messaging, and creative campaigns.

  • Oversee agency partners across creative, social, media, and production.

  • Drive creation of a differentiated consumer journey and engagement ecosystem.

  • Lead integrated omnichannel programs across digital, social, CRM, website, video, influencer, and experiential channels.

Digital, Social, and Consumer Ecosystem Leadership
  • Build and scale a robust consumer engagement ecosystem.

  • Develop and execute a best-in-class social media strategy.

  • Identify and activate key cultural moments and tentpole opportunities.

  • Champion innovative digital activations and data-driven personalization.

  • Evaluate emerging platforms and technologies to drive growth and engagement.

Team Leadership and Talent Development
  • Build and lead a best-in-class consumer marketing organization.

Basic Qualifications
  • Doctorate degree and 4 years ofmarketing or production experience OR

  • Master's degree and 7 years of marketing or production experience OR

  • Bachelor's degree and 9 years of marketing or production experience

Preferred Qualifications
  • Demonstrated success developing and leading consumer marketing strategies for major brands or launches.

  • Deep expertise in direct-to-consumer marketing, digital engagement, and social media.

  • Proven experience leading campaign development from insight generation through production and optimization.

  • Demonstrated success building, leading, and developing high-performing marketing organizations.

  • Strong agency management experience across creative, social, digital, media, and production partners.

  • Launch experience in biotechnology, pharmaceutical, healthcare, consumer health, or other regulated industries preferred.

  • Obesity, metabolic disease, or chronic disease experience preferred.

  • MBA or advanced degree preferred.

The expected annual salary range for this role in the U.S. (excluding Puerto Rico) is posted. Actual salary will vary based on several factors including but not limited to, relevant skills, experience, and qualifications.
