POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Fountainhead Group is seeking a highly motivated Product Manager to lead the strategy, development, commercialization, and performance of assigned product categories across consumer and professional markets. Acting as the business owner for assigned product lines, this role is responsible for driving product strategy, managing product lifecycles, identifying growth opportunities, and delivering products that provide meaningful value to customers while supporting the company's long-term business objectives.

The ideal candidate is a customer-focused, data-driven Product Manager with experience leading new product development and managing product portfolios from concept through commercialization. This individual leverages customer insights, market research, business analytics, and competitive intelligence to identify opportunities, guide product decisions, and drive innovation. Success in this role requires strong strategic thinking, business acumen, and the ability to collaborate effectively across Sales, Marketing, Engineering, Operations, Purchasing, and other cross-functional teams to bring successful products to market.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and execute product strategies, roadmaps, and lifecycle plans that align with business objectives and market opportunities.
  • Lead new product development initiatives from concept through commercialization using a structured phase-gate process.
  • Analyze customer insights, market trends, competitive activity, and product performance to identify growth opportunities and drive innovation.
  • Manage assigned product portfolios, including pricing, profitability, margin optimization, and lifecycle performance.
  • Partner with Engineering, Operations, Purchasing, Sales, and Marketing to successfully launch and support new products.
  • Serve as the Voice of the Customer by conducting market research, gathering end-user insights, and translating findings into actionable product strategies.
  • Support sales initiatives through product expertise, customer presentations, and business reviews.
  • Manage relationships with assigned licensing partners, supporting product development, forecasting, and strategic growth initiatives.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; equivalent experience considered.
  • 3+ years of product management experience; consumer packaged goods (CPG) or manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Proven success leading new product development and commercialization efforts.
  • Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and business planning skills.
  • Experience managing product portfolios and working with cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and project management skills.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
