Position Summary

The Associate Manager, Innovation Insights plays a key role in bringing the consumer to life in Nature Made’s innovation pipeline, executing qualitative and quantitative consumer research that delivers actionable insights to inform innovation strategy and business decisions. Reporting to the Manager, Innovation Insights, this individual partners closely with cross-functional teams to identify consumer needs, evaluate new ideas, and support the development of breakthrough products and experiences. The role is ideal for a curious, collaborative insights professional who enjoys translating consumer understanding into business action within a fast‑paced innovation environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Executes qualitative and quantitative research projects to answer key innovation business questions and uncover actionable consumer insights.
  • Supports the development of learning plans grounded in clear hypotheses and iterative testing, synthesizing findings into compelling business recommendations.
  • Partners with internal teams and external research agencies to conduct consumer co‑creation, ethnographies, focus groups, concept testing, product testing, and other innovation research methodologies.
  • Collaborates with cross‑functional Innovation, Marketing, R&D, and Commercial teams to provide consumer input throughout the innovation process, from opportunity identification through concept refinement.
  • Leverages multiple sources of information—including primary research, syndicated data, social listening, trends, and secondary research—to identify emerging consumer needs and innovation opportunities.
  • Synthesizes consumer insights into clear stories and recommendations that influence innovation decisions and inspire action.
  • Supports the evaluation and optimization of product concepts, positioning, claims, packaging, and consumer experiences throughout development.
  • Contributes to the continuous improvement of innovation research approaches by identifying efficient, agile methodologies and emerging research tools.

Capabilities & Skills Required

To be successful in this role, you'll bring:

  • Bachelor's degree required; Master’s degree in Marketing, Market Research, Business, Psychology, or related field preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in Consumer Insights, Market Research, Shopper Insights, Consumer Strategy, or related field (or 5+ years without an advanced degree).
  • Experience supporting innovation‑related consumer research projects.
  • Experience with qualitative and quantitative research methodologies, including research design, execution, analysis, and synthesis (e.g. Qualtrics, MyTake, etc.)
  • Experience working with research suppliers and external agencies (e.g. Nielsen IQ)
  • Strong analytical skills and familiarity with syndicated data sources (Circana, Nielsen, IRI, etc.) is preferred.
  • Experience in a CPG company is preferred.
  • Experience within Health & Wellness or at a consumer research agency is a plus.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to connect consumer insights to business recommendations.
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel, with strong written and verbal communication skills.

National Target Base Pay Range: $80,000 - $133,000. The salary range for this position is based on national standards. For candidates in California and New York metro the Target Base Pay Range is $88,000 - $146,000, to reflect the cost of living and market conditions in those areas. Actual compensation will take into account a wide range of factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to geographic location, education, experience, qualifications and job‑related skills. It is not typical for an individual to be hired above the midpoint of the range for their role and compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. This information is provided to applicants in accordance with state and local laws. Base pay is only one component of our total rewards offerings, and we will take the full offering into consideration when presenting an offer of employment.
