We believe our competitive advantage comes from understanding consumers more deeply than anyone else so that we can offer products and experiences that surprise and delight. The Consumer Strategy Analyst is responsible for gathering and synthesizing qualitative and quantitative data across diverse sources-from consumers, markets, academic research, and commercial performance-to develop explanations and models that improve how the organization understands the world. This role is not about simply delivering research, but instead about building and refining the company's understanding of consumers, brands, and markets so that every strategic decision is grounded in a foundational understanding of how people think, choose, engage, and behave.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build foundational understanding of consumer motivations, decision-making, brand meaning, category dynamics, and market evolution.
  • Continuously gather and connect evidence across consumer insights, business performance, competitors, culture, and emerging markets.
  • Synthesize information into clear explanations, identifying patterns, opportunities, and where new evidence challenges or strengthens existing thinking.
  • Develop frameworks that help predict consumer behavior, identify opportunities, and improve strategic decision-making.
  • Partner cross-functionally to frame critical questions, reduce uncertainty, and bring the consumer perspective into innovation, positioning, commercialization, and strategy.
  • Build and share organizational knowledge so insights compound over time and continuously improve how the business learns and makes decisions.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Psychology, Behavioral Science, Economics, Statistics, Sociology, Human Factors, Philosophy or a related field.

  • Strong narrative and communication skills with the ability to elucidate ideas and explain complex concepts clearly and compellingly.
  • Experience using analytical tools such as Excel, Qualtrics, Power BI, Python, R, SQL, and a willingness to quickly learn new tools.
  • Familiarity with a variety of quantitative and qualitative research methodologies, including ethnographies, individual and group interviews, .
  • An eagerness to learn, intellectual curiosity, and the ability to thrive in an ambiguous, fast-moving environment.
