The Cleanroom Technician (Consumables Assembly Technician) is responsible for assembling, inspecting, and packaging high-precision diagnostic consumables used in advanced testing platforms. Working in a clean, controlled manufacturing environment, this role directly supports the production of medical device components and plays a critical part in ensuring product quality, reliability, and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities
  • Assemble small plastic and component-based diagnostic consumables in accordance with detailed written work instructions.
  • Perform repetitive bench assembly tasks, including fitting, sealing, and light mechanical assembly of parts.
  • Inspect finished components for defects, quality, and dimensional accuracy using visual checks and appropriate tools.
  • Follow GMP and ISO manufacturing practices and maintain accurate, complete production documentation.
  • Package finished consumables for distribution, ensuring correct labeling and packaging integrity.
  • Maintain a cleanroom or controlled work environment by following proper gowning procedures and cleanliness protocols.
  • Operate basic production equipment such as fixtures, sealers, and light automated tools safely and effectively.
  • Record production data in designated systems and promptly report issues or nonconformances to supervisors or engineering staff.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to enhance product quality, workflow, and production efficiency.
  • Adhere to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and all applicable safety and quality guidelines throughout daily activities.
Essential Skills
  • At least 1 year of manufacturing, assembly, or production experience, preferably in a regulated environment.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $33.00/hr.
