A leading Consulting Company is seeking a Sr. Solutions Architect for a 6 month contract to hire role.

The client is seeking an experienced Senior Solution Architect to join our growing consulting practice supporting enterprise clients in the Salt Lake City, UT area. This is an outstanding opportunity for a technology leader who combines deep technical expertise with strategic thinking to architect innovative, cloud-native solutions that accelerate digital transformation and deliver lasting business value.
This is a hands-on architecture role where you'll work closely with engineering teams to guide solution implementation, review technical designs, resolve complex architectural challenges, and ensure successful delivery.
As a trusted advisor, you will collaborate with executive stakeholders, business leaders, enterprise architects, and engineering teams to define technology roadmaps, design enterprise-scale solutions, and guide the successful delivery of mission-critical initiatives. You'll help organizations modernize their technology landscape through cloud adoption, AI-enabled capabilities, event-driven architectures, microservices, enterprise integration, and modern software engineering practices.

Your future duties and responsibilities
How you'll make an impact
As a Senior Solution Architect, you will provide both strategic and technical leadership across enterprise initiatives, ensuring technology solutions align with business objectives, enterprise architecture standards, and long-term organizational strategy.
Strategic Business Partnership
* Build trusted relationships with executive stakeholders, business leaders, product owners, and technical teams
* Partner with business and technology leadership to translate strategic objectives into scalable technology solutions
* Participate in enterprise planning, technology strategy, and investment discussions
* Support business case development, technology assessments, Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) analysis, and modernization initiatives
* Advise leadership on technology selection, architecture decisions, innovation opportunities, and emerging industry trends
* Support application portfolio management, including modernization, lifecycle planning, and technology rationalization
Solution Architecture & Technical Leadership
* Design secure, scalable, resilient, and cloud-native enterprise solutions supporting mission-critical business capabilities
* Translate complex business and technical requirements into comprehensive solution architectures aligned with enterprise standards
* Develop architecture blueprints, reference architectures, solution roadmaps, and integration strategies
* Design modern distributed systems leveraging:
* Cloud-native architectures

* Event-driven architectures

* Enterprise messaging

* Lead application modernization initiatives, including legacy transformation and cloud migration

* Promote standardized, reusable, secure, and automated architectural approaches
