Construction Project Superintendent

CTA Construction Managers is an award-winning, ENR Top 100 Green Contractor headquartered in Waltham, Massachusetts. For more than 25 years, we've built some of the region's most complex and innovative educational, municipal, and commercial facilities. We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Superintendent to lead large-scale, technically challenging projects throughout Massachusetts.

This is an outstanding opportunity for a superintendent who thrives in a collaborative environment, takes pride in delivering exceptional quality, and is passionate about safety, leadership, and client satisfaction.

What You'll Do

As the onsite leader, you will be responsible for the successful day-to-day execution of construction projects from mobilization through closeout. Responsibilities include:

  • Lead all onsite construction activities while maintaining a safe, organized, and productive jobsite.
  • Develop, maintain, and drive the project schedule to achieve milestone and completion dates.
  • Implement and enforce the project-specific safety, quality control, and site logistics plans.
  • Coordinate and direct subcontractors, suppliers, and field personnel to maximize efficiency and quality.
  • Conduct regular foreman and subcontractor coordination meetings.
  • Prepare accurate daily reports documenting project progress, manpower, weather, and key activities.
  • Work closely with owners, architects, engineers, inspectors, and subcontractors to foster strong working relationships.
  • Identify and proactively resolve field issues before they impact schedule or budget.
  • Maintain the highest standards of workmanship, professionalism, and customer service.

What We're Looking For

  • Massachusetts Unrestricted Construction Supervisor License.
  • Proven experience managing large-scale commercial, institutional, or public construction projects.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and coordinate multiple trades.
  • Excellent organizational, planning, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience using construction management software and Microsoft Office (Procore experience is a plus).
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A strong sense of urgency with the ability to make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Commitment to safety, quality, and delivering exceptional projects.
