Job description

Monument Construction, LLC is a Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business Commercial General Contractor. We are seeking qualified applicants for a Construction Project Manager.

Our field employees are expected to willingly and productively perform a variety of tasks related to commercial construction industries while safely working withinfederal, veteranhospital environments. Applicants must have a strong work ethic, be highly motivated, positive can do attitude, be detail orientated individual, responsible, respectful, and team player.

Job Duties:

  • Plan, manage, and oversee construction projects from preconstruction through closeout, ensuring alignment with project scope, budget, and timeline.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, contractors, and other stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain project budgets, cost tracking, and financial reporting, including change order management and forecasting.
  • Lead the negotiation and execution of subcontracts, purchase orders, and change orders.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, identifying critical path items and ensuring milestones are met.
  • Review and manage project documentation, including submittals, RFIs, and contracts, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Monitor construction progress on-site to ensure adherence to quality standards, contract specifications, and safety requirements.
  • Coordinate and lead project meetings, providing regular updates on schedule, budget, risks, and issues.
  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of invoices, pay applications, and related financial documentation.
  • Maintain detailed records of project activities, costs, and decisions to support transparency and closeout requirements.
  • Provide leadership to field teams, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure accountability and effective performance.
  • Act as a safety leader, promoting and enforcing a culture of safety through example and compliance.


Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field preferred.
  • 5+ years of project management experience in construction, preferably infederal,commercial, infrastructure, or industrial sectors.
  • Proven ability to manage construction budgets, schedules, and teams independently.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Strong understanding of construction methods, contract documents, and applicable codes.
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project, PrimaveraCloud, or similar).
